The Croatian Coral Centre Zlarin Celebrates Its Second Birthday This Weekend

The Croatian Coral Centre Zlarin is celebrating its second birthday this weekend, and all visitors are invited to join the festivities on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st. A rich two-day program awaits both children and adults — from a kids’ theatre performance and a creative workshop to stand-up comedy and guided tours of the Centre’s exhibition — all with free entry.

“Since opening, the Centre has welcomed over 28,000 visitors — a clear sign of how much a space like this is needed and how its value has been recognized. The Centre is not just an exhibition venue, but also the island’s cultural hub — a place for sharing knowledge, connecting with others, and encouraging responsible care for nature and heritage.
We’re excited to celebrate this important milestone with our visitors through the very experiences that best represent us,” said Katarina Gregov, Manager of the Coral Centre Zlarin.

The Centre will be open to visitors on both days from 10 AM to 6 PM.

SATURDAY, May 31
11:00 – Children’s show: Clown Spartanko
21:00 – Stand-up night with Splicka Scena comedy collective: Ante Travizi & Josip Škiljo

SUNDAY, June 1
11:00 – Creative workshop for children with painter Jasmina Granduč

Throughout both days, guided tours of the exhibition will be held at 10:30, 11:30, 12:00, and 14:30 – no prior registration required.

As part of the celebration, a special membership promotion is launching – for every purchased membership to the Friends Club, the second one is free (1+1 offer).
